We have accu...I couldn't agree more, and then some! We have accumulated a small box of old batteries in order to dispose of them responsibly but when I contacted the council I was told there was no facility for recycling them.<br /><br />The trouble with this country is the government has all these ideas about what we should do but they don't want to pay for them. We pay vast amounts of council tax but most of it goes on huge salaries for council executives instead of services to the public.<br /><br />If they want people to recycle they should provide free recycling facilities. If they want people to use cars less they should make public transport cheaper. And so on.
