I was sat at home wishing I was still away and sat on some fell or other in the sunshine, when I heard the first rumours of what was going down. I changed my mind very quickly and was all of a sudden glad I was sat at home. That was brave....The local language is a bit like a geordie/scots mix and a bit hard to get sometimes, especially in the pub. If you think its bad now you should have seen it 10 years ago with a nice stinky foam in the harbour from the soap factory which is now closed.<br /><br />I was on my bike with my vx-3 on top of lowther forest, just next to dent yesterday and put a few calls out but didn&#39;t get any responses. <br /><br />The western lakes get a lot less visitors than windemere and ambleside etc but is much better for the sea ;-), which I can tell you is still chilly at St BeesAlex, g7ksehttp://g7kse.co.uk[email protected]
